At Willow & Woodsman Apothecary, our story begins on the rugged shores of Newfoundland, where we were born and raised. Growing up with true East Coast values, we learned early on the importance of hard work, honest craftsmanship, and taking care of the people around you.

Today, our family calls the peaceful valleys near the Gatineau Hills home. Inspired by the surrounding forests, crisp mountain air, and quiet beauty of local farmland, we set out to build a skincare line that honors those small-town roots.

We started this apothecary with a simple philosophy: skincare should be pure, simple, and nourishing. You shouldn't need a chemistry degree to read a product label. Your skin thrives when treated with a few exceptionally clean, bio-available ingredients that nature already perfected.

Every jar of our grass-fed tallow balm and every botanical rollerstick is hand-crafted in small batches right here in our workshop. From sourcing local Canadian grass-fed, grass-finished tallow to carefully blending pure essential oils, we oversee every step of the process with the exact same love and attention to detail we give to our own family.

To preserve the delicate vitamins and active botanicals, all products are kept under strict refrigeration until the very moment they are shipped or brought to market. We package exclusively in premium glass jars and tin containers to prevent chemical leaching and protect our essential oils from light degradation, ensuring that what arrives at your door is as pure and potent as the day it was whipped.
